All data submitted by property owners is transmitted using a secure, encrypted protocol. Richland County then stores the information and documents in an encrypted state.
Access to data by County employees is controlled through secure credentials. Therefore, only employees with the proper credentials have access to the data and their use of the data is systematically documented.
